Tahini Cashew Sauce

This Makes for a great Sauce/Dip to go with any Savory meal! From Fries & Burgers to Salads, Beans & Eggs.

That’s not all, it is completely Soy-free, Dairy-free, Gluten-free, Refined Sugar-free, Paleo, Keto, Vegan & Fodmap friendly.

So let’s just get to the recipe:

Ingredients ~

4 Tbsp Tahini

1/3 Cup Cashews (Soaked for 3 Hours)

Juice of half a lemon

1 Capsicum Cooked/Roasted

1 Small handful of fresh Baby Spinach

Dash Masterfoods Italian herbs

Dash Masterfoods Oregano,

Pinch of Pink Himalayan Salt (any salt will do)

8+ tbsp Water (I used about 10).

Method ~

Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth, scraping sides to include all ingredients.

Store in an airtight Container/Jar in the refrigerator.

Makes 500ml (depending on how much water is added).

This Sauce is more liquidy when first made. Once kept in the fridge it will thicken up a bit, so don’t forget to stir it before each use due to the oil separating to the top (there isn’t very much but still stir).

I recommend quite a bit of salt (just because I love salt – Miss 14) but add salt and adjust accordingly to your taste.
